About
Green Lens International

Let's Visualize your Story

Welcome to Green Lens International, also known as Green Lens Uganda, a non-profit organization headquartered in Ntinda, Kampala, Uganda. Our organization was established in 2014 by Mr. Nelson Byanyima, who is also recognized as Nelly Salvatore. Initially operating under the name Adopt a Clean Cookstove Campaign (ACCC) across different social media platforms, we focused on promoting clean cookstoves.

In 2021, we took a significant step forward by legally incorporating Green Lens International. This expansion allowed us to broaden our scope to encompass various environmental conservation initiatives, clean energy technologies, and climate action programs. As a result, we rebranded ourselves as Green Lens International to reflect our global reach and commitment to addressing environmental challenges on a larger scale.

At Green Lens International, we are dedicated to fostering sustainable practices, promoting clean energy solutions, and driving impactful climate action. Through collaborative efforts and strategic partnerships, we strive to create a greener and more resilient future for our planet.

Our organization is dedicated to advocating for environmental conservation, promoting the adoption and continuous use of renewable energy, and taking action against climate change. We achieve this through a range of activities, including advocacy, research, training, and consultancy services.

At Green Lens International, we understand that protecting the environment is crucial for the survival of our planet and future generations. We are committed to this cause and have partnered with local communities, policymakers, and conservation organizations to achieve our goals.

We have a team of experienced environmentalists, researh scientists, visual artists, photographers, and documentary filmmakers, who document the unique flora and fauna of various ecosystems. Our visual storytelling aims to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation, renewable energy use, sustainable development, and climate action and inspire positive change toward protecting these critical habitats.

We are also committed to capacity building, as we believe that this is crucial to achieving our goals. We are currently seeking support in terms of funding and capacity building, and we welcome partnerships with organizations that share our vision.

Thank you for visiting our website, and we encourage you to explore our work and join us in our mission to promote environmental protection and sustainability.
